“Christmas Gold”
I love Christmas and all the traditional crafts and baking that go with it. I still get the same buzz I remember feeling in anticipation of receiving my gifts on Christmas Eve (in Switzerland everything is happening on Dec 24th). With December being one of the busiest months of the year, I managed to squeeze in making these gold foil ornaments last minute-ish. (In order to get all my crafty things made in time, I vow to start in September 2020 for the next Christmas season :-)
Saying that it’s late January now, it may not be the most adequate season for this post, but I hope the ornaments will bring you a warm glow of post-season nostalgia to lighten up your January.
If you are interested in shopping early for next season you can DM me. I also take custom commissions. They make beautiful wall decorations too.
If you’re interested in making your own I will add a ‘how to’ to this post shortly. I used metal tooling foil and a simple knitting needle. A knitting needle is a good short term solution, but if you’re serious about it, or like me develop a weeklong addiction to it (it’s an extremely satisfying process) get yourself a nail art “dotting tool”.
